Angels & Dragons, School - Community Workshopsa, 18th & 21st September

Children from 4 local schools will take part next week in a series of workshops at St Michael & All Angels. Budding artists from St Mary Redcliffe Primary, Parson Street Primary, Victoria Park Infant and Junior Schools will come together to make a bright & lively display on the theme of angels and dragons.

The Art Trail Weekend coincides with the church's feast day on 29 September - Michaelmas, or the feast of St Michael. The display will include scores of smaller angels, one large one and, of course, a dragon - all suspended in the upper reaches of the church, echoing that primordial story of the cosmic fight of good against evil!!

We've run a number of well attended art workshops in recent years at St Michael's, and look forward to children from neighbouring schools joining in the fun again for what we imagine will be a(nother) stunning display!

It's great to be part of this Community's creativity and to see so much talent at such short range!
