My work is based on images and my experience of the sea. The 'Stone Bottles' are slip-cast in stoneware and made to look weathered as if found at the bottom of the ocean. The bowls and platters are respectively made from porcelain and 'Crank' stoneware, have deep turquoise, green and volcanic glazes designed to resemble the islands and atolls in the Maldives. My pale collection are made from porcelain and have a smooth glaze which is reminiscent of shells with volcanic glazed rough edges.
