After completing a Ceramics degree at Bower Ashton in 1984, I began a successful business making sculptural costume jewellery made from cold cast resin.
Since the nineties, I have been designing and making ornaments such as plaques and clocks cast in concrete. I supply shops and sell at various fayres and festivals.
Two years ago I found a block of bathstone, took a hammer and chisel to it, and was hooked. I find it so exciting creating a unique piece of sculpture. I make figurative and abstract pieces and am looking forward to exploring other types of stone.
